Xinquan Automotive Trim expansion in Aguascalientes: world-class industrial infrastructure built in Mexico
January 14, 2026

Mexican engineering for the global automotive industry
This industrial project was developed for Xinquan Automotive Trim, a Chinese company recognized as one of the Top 100 auto parts suppliers in China, specializing in the design, development, manufacture, and marketing of interior and exterior components for the automotive industry, such as instrument panels, door guards, roof modules, plastic assemblies, and injection molds.
Located in the state of Aguascalientes, this development responds to the growing demand for high-performance industrial infrastructure in Mexico's Bajío region, one of the most important strategic regions for the automotive sector in Latin America.

Technical and operational challenges overcome
One of the main challenges of the project was technical and operational coordination with an international client, which required the use of a permanent translator throughout all stages of the project. This condition involved rigorous communication management to avoid risks of misinterpretation in critical engineering, construction, and planning decisions.
In addition, the project's metal structure was manufactured in China using a Butler system that differed from the American Butler system commonly used in Mexico. This difference posed a significant technical challenge, as it was necessary to quickly adapt the construction process, assembly criteria, and on-site coordination in order to meet the execution deadlines and delivery commitments.
Comprehensive construction scope
With an expansion of 38,000 m² , a comprehensive turnkey scope was developed, covering all stages of the industrial project:
Civil works and structure
Administrative areas and services
control booths
Specialized facilities and systems
Access Control and CCTV
Outdoor infrastructure
Construction innovation and regulatory adaptation
The project was developed based on engineering and technical documentation generated in China, which was tropicalized and adapted to Mexican regulations, complying with local regulations, industrial safety standards, and best construction practices.
In addition, various materials and equipment were supplied directly by the client from China, which involved a preliminary process of analysis, technical review, and compatibility testing to ensure their proper integration into the project.
