5 Social Responsibility Initiatives That Have Transformed Lives

We work with the goal of making a positive impact on society and the environment, seeking to connect with causes, projects, and initiatives. Learn about the various social responsibility initiatives we have carried out over the past 15 years.

1. Support for Children's Health

We believe in the importance of restoring children’s health to build a more promising future. And on this journey, every little bit counts. That’s why we collected 4.5 metric tons of PET and bottle caps and 7.8 metric tons of cardboard to donate to the Monterrey Alliance Against Childhood Cancer; thanks to these efforts, more than 33 children received support to continue their treatments.

2. Cleaning up rivers and hills

Protecting the environment is essential to ensuring a sustainable future, and at GP Construcción, we are committed to this cause with determination and enthusiasm through our active participation in the Mega Cleanup of the Santa Catarina River and the Restoration of the Walkways and Stairways of Cerro de la Campana. In this way, we promote the preservation of these valuable natural resources.

3. Renovation of low-income schools

Ensuring a pleasant learning environment is key to the country’s education system. Our project,“Adding a Touch of Color to the Mario Benedetti School,”is an inspiring example of how dedication can improve an educational space. Every detail we incorporate reflects our commitment to education and to the children, so that they have a welcoming and motivating environment.

4. Tree Reforestation

Planting trees is an excellent way to preserve biodiversity and continue the fight against climate change. That is why, to commemorate World Earth Day, we have planted more than 100 mesquite trees along the Santa Catarina River. Each tree we plant is a legacy for future generations, reminding us of the importance of protecting the natural world around us.

5. Building a Pet House

In addition to addressing environmental and health issues, we are committed to the noble task of protecting our furry friends by building pet shelters using recycled materials from our construction sites. Through the "Huellitas" contest, we collaborate with organizations dedicated to the care and protection of animals, where each structure provides shelter and warmth.
