Volvo Mobile Classroom Graduation: Education and Development

At GP Construcción, we believe that building also means creating opportunities that transform lives. That is why we are proud to celebrate the graduation of employees from the Volvo project who successfully completed various educational and training programs through the Mobile Classroom as part of our CRECIENDO EN GP program, an initiative focused on bringing learning opportunities directly to the job site.

This program is part of Grupo GP’s human development and social responsibility strategy, which aims to promote access to education, professional development, and personal growth for workers in the construction industry.

Education and training that open up new job opportunities

The Mobile Classroom aims to facilitate access to education and support the professional development of employees, enabling them to continue their academic studies while working.

Through this program, participants have access to courses and certifications ranging from literacy and high school-level education to technical training, digital skills, and training focused on the industrial and construction sectors.

Among the programs completed by graduates of the Volvo project are courses related to:

• computing and digital tools,
• Excel and office software,
• industrial safety,
• topography,
• maintenance,
• supervision,
• administrative development,
• personal finance,
• as well as training aimed at professional development and employability.

In addition, the Mobile Classroom holds official certifications endorsed by the SEP (Ministry of Public Education), which enhances the academic and professional value of each program.

An educational program that has had an impact on various industrial projects in Mexico

The CRECIENDO EN GP program has brought educational and training opportunities to various industrial projects across the country, providing learning resources directly to on-site employees.

This initiative has been part of projects such as the Whirlpool plant in Ramos Arizpe, the LEGO plant in Ciénega de Flores, the Brembo plant in Escobedo, and currently the Volvo project, benefiting workers through academic programs, technical training, and professional skill development.

Through these educational initiatives, we continue to foster a culture focused on human development, lifelong learning, and the creation of opportunities within Mexico’s construction and manufacturing industries.

A program that transforms lives both on and off the job site

Beyond technical training, this initiative offers workers an opportunity to develop new skills, expand their career prospects, and continue building a better future for themselves and their families.

Since 2023, the Aula Móvil program has had a positive impact on hundreds of people:

• 48 employees currently enrolled in courses in 2025
• 184 students have benefited since 2023
• and more than 736 indirect beneficiaries reached through this educational initiative.

The graduation of the Volvo project team members reflects the hard work, discipline, and dedication of individuals who chose to continue their education and strengthen their professional skills while being part of one of the most significant industrial projects currently underway in Mexico.
