Safety, quality, and the environment: pillars that are central to our approach to construction
At GP Construcción, we understand that construction goes far beyond simply building each project. Every project represents an opportunity to create safer, more efficient, and more sustainable spaces, always prioritizing people, quality craftsmanship, and environmental stewardship.
That is why safety, quality, and environmental stewardship are an essential part of our organizational culture and the way we work every day on every construction site, project, and workspace.
As part of this commitment, we hold our Safety, Quality, and Environment Week, an initiative aimed at strengthening a culture of prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement among our teams.
Through various activities and learning opportunities, we emphasize the importance of operating in accordance with high standards of industrial safety, operational quality, and environmental sustainability, while promoting best practices both on and off site.
At GP Construcción, we understand that safety goes beyond regulatory compliance. Our proactive approach is based on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to create safer work environments for employees, contractors, and partners involved in our projects.

This commitment is supported by our ISO 45001 certification, which reinforces our focus on occupational health and safety, as well as by procedures, work instructions, audits, and risk assessments that enable us to strengthen compliance with operational standards at our job sites.
In addition, we promote a culture of prevention and continuous improvement through ongoing training, drills, on-site inspections, and specific procedures for critical activities such as work at heights, excavation, maneuvering, and equipment operation.
Safety, Quality, and Environment Week is part of these initiatives aimed at raising awareness, providing information, and training our teams, thereby strengthening safety on-site and encouraging people to actively participate in identifying and preventing risks.
These efforts are also reflected in our results. In 2025, we managed to reduce our severity index by 78%, thanks to the commitment, discipline, and tireless efforts of our teams to foster an increasingly robust and safety-conscious culture.
Furthermore, no cases of occupational illnesses were reported during the period in operations under the organization’s control, underscoring the importance of continuing to promote preventive measures, training, and ongoing supervision within our projects.
The campaign was carried out across various active projects and construction sites managed by GP Construcción, spreading the message of prevention, quality, and responsibility to different work teams. Notable among these are projects such as the Volvo plant in Ciénega de Flores, the Children’s Hospital in Guadalupe, various pocket parks in different locations, and industrial projects such as LEGO Empaque.
Through these initiatives, we aim to raise awareness of the importance of identifying risks, following procedures, and prioritizing people’s well-being at every stage of implementation.
At GP Construcción, we believe that safety is a shared responsibility and one of the cornerstones of building successful, efficient, and sustainable projects.
We will continue to promote initiatives, processes, and opportunities that strengthen our culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, because we firmly believe that building also means caring for people, the environment, and the way we do things every day.
