LEED: Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

LEED certification is an internationally recognized system, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), that is used to evaluate and certify the sustainability of our buildings and construction projects, ensuring that they meet strict environmental standards.  

For a project to achieve a LEED certification level, it must be evaluated and classified into one of the following categories: 

Certified: Indicates that it meets the minimum sustainability requirements, representing an initial commitment to sustainable construction. 

Silver: Demonstrates that more advanced measures for energy efficiency, resource conservation, and indoor environmental quality have been implemented.

Gold: Awarded to projects that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to environmental efficiency through the implementation of cutting-edge strategies and innovative technologies. 

Platinum: This is the highest level and demonstrates an outstanding commitment to sustainability, innovation in design, and construction operations.
