We're joining the Monterrey-Guadalupe Green Corridor initiative!

At GP Construcción, we are participating in the Monterrey Green Corridor eco-mobility initiative to promote and maintain a balanced and sustainable urban environment.  

For a Greener Future 

The Monterrey–Guadalupe Green Corridor project, which will connect Parque España with Parque del Agua, aims to improve the urban landscape, promote greening, and help the city of Monterrey adapt to climate change. It also seeks to foster community interaction, encourage physical activity, and allow residents to enjoy the region’s culture and nature.

This green initiative includes 955 meters of new infrastructure and the planting of 185 trees. The widening of sidewalks and the installation of bike lanes are part of this project, along with the installation of 47 benches and 104 LED streetlights.

Green corridors are spaces that promote environmentally friendly actions and improve quality of life by reducing the heat island effect, a phenomenon that occurs in cities due to high temperatures. 

We participate to maintain a sustainable environment

As part of the Ocampo Neighborhood Committee, we at Grupo GP received a plaque symbolizing our participation and civic commitment to promoting and maintaining a balanced and sustainable urban environment. Together, we will do our part to care for the green spaces, pedestrian areas, and bike lanes around us.
