GP Construcción drives Dana's expansion in Escobedo with a project of more than 81,000 sq. mt.

At GP Construcción we consolidated our experience in the industrial sector with the expansion of the Dana plant, a global leader in solutions for the automotive industry, located in Pocket Park Escobedo, Nuevo León. One of GP Desarrollos' industrial parks.

This project represents 81,600 m² of construction executed in record time, starting on-site activities on June 10, 2024, with an estimated completion date of July 16, 2025.

Scope of the project

The work contemplated an integral development that included:

• Civil Works: foundations, masonry, pavements, metal structure, wall and roof lamination.
• MEP installations: electrical, plumbing, ICS and FAS.
• Exterior works: parking lots, civilian-MEP exterior rooms, civilian-MEP guard house and civilian-MEP rainwater channel.

Technical challenges and achievements

The main challenge of this expansion was the compliance of execution times, which was overcome thanks to strategic planning, precise coordination and the teamwork of all the areas involved. The result: a project delivered on time and on budget, ready for the client to put its facilities into operation without delays.
