Innovation Summit 2025: The future of construction starts today

At GP Construcción, we know that building is more than that: it also involves imagining, transforming, and innovating. That's why we're proud to celebrate the first edition of the Innovation Summit , an event that marks the beginning of a new stage in our evolution as a company and in driving innovation in the Mexican construction industry .

The meeting took place at the Westin Hotel, Punto Valle, where we experienced a day of knowledge, inspiration, and connection among teams, leaders, and key guests from the industry.

A day to learn, share and evolve

During the event, we shared the current technological tools we use at GP Construcción, through real-life case studies that demonstrate how digital transformation is already present in our projects. We discussed the present, but also our vision for the future: how we can grow together in a smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient way.

We had the special participation of Luz María Vasquez , Director of Digital Engineering for Latin America and Sustainability Leader at Autodesk , who presented a global look at how technology is redefining construction processes internationally.

We were also joined by Theo , our Spot robot from Boston Dynamics, a tangible example of how automation and robotics are already an active part of our operations.

The contest, a space for great ideas

One of the most exciting moments of the day was the competition , an internal event that invited our employees to present innovative ideas with the goal of driving the transformation of our company.

After a preliminary stage in which multiple proposals were received and evaluated, a selection committee chose three finalist teams and awarded an honorable mention .

During the event, the teams presented their ideas to the audience, and through real-time voting via a QR code, attendees were able to choose their favorite project. Finally, the jury deliberated and selected a winning team.

The quality and diversity of the proposals received reflect the tremendous talent, commitment, and vision found in every corner of GP Construcción. We are motivated by the knowledge that so many minds are willing to imagine new ways of working, growing, and transforming the industry.

A day of community and purpose

We closed the day with a networking session that allowed for socializing, exchanging ideas, and strengthening the GP community. Between conversations and good food, we reaffirmed one thing very clearly: we have a team ready to lead the evolution of construction .

To innovate is also to build

At GP Construcción, we firmly believe that innovation comes from people. This first Innovation Summit is just the beginning of a series of initiatives that will drive an increasingly collaborative, technological, and future-oriented culture.
